Battle Mode 1:
Every class has a BM1 but not all of them are good. FB has a BM1 which increases their stats with magic attack skills. The cannons will give you the most stats out of all the magic skills because they deal the most dmg out of them, when you activate BM1, ur strongest magic attacks from each element will be applied.
Every element gives extra stats on different stats:
Stone Cannon Lv20 wil increase ur defense.
Wind Cannon Lv20 will increase ur atk rate and def rate.
Aqua Cannon Lv20 will increase ur hp/mp and hp regen/mp regen.
Lightning Cannon Lv20 will increase ur attack.
Note: The other elements give stats on attack too but since Lightning deals the most dmg, it'll give you more stats.
Like I said, in BM1 we get extra stats from our magic skills. But now I gonna explain on which factors the extra stats depends:
- It depends on which magic skills from every element you have (cannons...lances...).
- It depends on what lvl ur magic skills have. The higher it's lvl, the more stats you get in BM1.
- It depends on how much MAGIC ATTACK u have, the more magic attack, the bigger the BM1.
So let's say we got the cannons listed above all at Lv20. From every 100 Magic attack we got, we'll get..:
- 46 extra Attack
- 33 extra Defense
- 220 extra HP/MP/Defense rate/Hit rate
U should be happy that FB has the most useful BM1 between all the other classes ^^.
How to boost ur BM1 stats:
While casting ur BM1, u get extra stats for example:
120 more atk from the stats of ur BM1 skill and 230 more atk from the extra stats from ur magic atk/cannon lvl 20.
(The 230 extra attack is from 500 (magic attack) x 46 ( extra attack from lvl 20 lightning cannon every 100 magic attack )).
If you have noticed, ur BM1 will cancel when you switch ur weapons. But it doesn't cancel if you switch ur accesories/armour.
Also if u switch ur accesories/armour, the extra stats given by ur BM1 will remain the same.
Thus that's why I advice to wear accesories/armour which increases ur magic atk before casting BM1. Also when u cast aura mode after BM1, cast ur Wind/Stone/Aqua/Thunder Cannons again to make benefit of the stats given by aura mode. After you casted ur BM1, switch ur set back to Sword Amp/Crit Damage set. You'll notice a BIG difference ^^.
Battle Mode 2:
Using normal atk in Battle Mode 2, make you do 4 special moves.
An "illusion Stab", a "Round Cut", a "Dance of Ruin", and "Force Impact"
Each move u make by pressing repeatedly the atk button during Battle mode 2.
The moves are in the order I write up, so u cannot do "Dance of Ruin" first before u do "Round Cut", and before "Round Cut", you need to do "illusion Stab".
Re-targetting:
this means canceling some slow moves that u do not want, so that you can do more damage per second ( dps ).
There are 3 methods of re-targeting:
1. press " Esc " button when u want to cancel the move, then current mob that u had lock-on, will not be targeted, so u need to click the mob again, and you begin to do the atk's from the first.
2. wait some time after the hit, and when you will press again, you will start from beginning
3. this one is when you have more mob's ( monster's) : when you want to re-target, change mob, and you will start the row of atk's again.
4. this one is to avoid getting deconnections in TG :P, after the second attack select your character or another person, and then click again on the mob (Credits to vladdim)
5. this one might be a lil bit slower/hard: you unable auto attack, you press twice Normal Attack and after 2nd attack stop pressing, wait for like 0.5 sec and then press again. This will make ur normal attack start from the 1st attack. (Credits to sk0rpyo)
For FB Battle mode 2, at bosses, I suggest to re-target after 2nd/3rd hit, for better dps.
